Flax, le Chaudron Magique - meet the crew
Timothée Falcucci, better known in the tribe as Flax or Le Chaudron Magique, is one of the founding members from the very beginning of the Burn Crew Concept.
Present since 2005 and honored as a core member since 2007, he is among those who laid the first stones of what has become a major movement in the European Fire arts scene.
🔥 A Founding Encounter
It all began one summer afternoon on the Champ de Mars. A friend told him about a small emerging association called Burn Crew Concept, and insisted he should meet someone named… Das.
The connection was instant: Flax, a former fire breather, jumped into the adventure. Since then, he has shared countless wild stories and unforgettable moments with the crew.
To him, BCC became a true institution, a unifying project pushing the scene forward in every area: safety, training, creation, media, technique, photography… Every aspect is a door to open, a Fire to keep alive.
🎧 Behind the Magic
To this day, Tim is still present at the major anniversary gatherings at the Palais de Tokyo — surreal moments that feel like waking dreams.
He often works behind the scenes: logistics, sound systems, coordination — one of those silent forces that make the magic possible.
Artistically, Tim also explores fine art photography, sharing his visual experiments on his Instagram: @tf_timfalcucci.
He’s done several collaborative photo sessions with Das in the Fire Photography series. Under the name Le Chaudron Magique, he also produces immersive, experimental DJ sets — a project to keep an eye (and ear) on.
