Poizila – Between sacred dance, martial arts and inner Fire

Gouri Viravalli, an artist from South India, performs under the name Poizila. Trained in classical Indian dance and martial arts, she discovered Flow Arts and Fire during the pandemic—and completely fell in love with it.
Since then, she’s been training, traveling, and creating, developing her own artistic language that merges dance, martial arts, and sacred flame.

A unique style rooted in heritage

Now a full-time performer, Poizila explores a sensitive and grounded movement style, focusing on nunchaku and kung-fu fans—though she remains open to many props and influences.
Her performances bridge traditional Asian movement and the modern energy of Flow Arts. She has already performed in over 12 countries and continues to expand her reach.

An invisible but vibrant community

Gouri speaks with deep emotion about what the Flow community has taught her: “I’ve learned more than just tricks… I’ve learned about life, love, and generosity.”
She describes this world as a magical, invisible circle of exceptional artists—far away from the chaos of modern society.

Fire: an ancient calling

“Fire is a primal energy. She calls to everyone. But only some of us remember her name.”
