Mission statement: An enduring, extraordinary, interactive, sculptural and
performing fire arts event that both educates and entertains.
They are a 501 C3 organization wishing to promote a unique form of art, give exposure to the artists that create this art form, and bring people to Telluride during a slow time of year.
Fire performances, fire art installations and fire art cars on Main St. and Mountain Village are FREE to the public (two blocks of Main Street will be closed to vehicular traffic three evenings for this exciting display of interactive fire art).
The Telluride Fire Festival is offering FREE fire dancer/spinner workshops as well as welding workshops during the event.
They will off-set our carbon foot print with the purchase of solar panels, which will be given to a local nonprofit.
